Want some STEM Research Experience?

The Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) program is a 6-week summer course designed to keep STEM K-12 teachers involved on the cutting edge research activities of engineering and computer science. Sponsored by the National Science Foundation, teachers will work alongside graduate and doctoral students with the aim of sharing their findings and projects in their classrooms.

A total of Thirty-six science and mathematics teachers selected from Clark County School District (CCSD) in the Las Vegas area will participate over the next 3-years. Twelve teachers will perform summer research each year over the next 3-years. At least two selected teachers from the same K-12 school to maintain synergy during each school year over the next 33-years.

    • Program Dates: May 27th, 2019 – July 3rd, 2019
    • Program Duration: 6 weeks
    • Program Timings: 8:30 A.M – 4:30 P.M (Monday – Friday)
    • Program Location: University of Nevada, Las Vegas
    • Number of Intake: 12 members
